Santee Sioux Boy's Trousers / 1890

A pair of boy's pants constructed from native-tanned buckskin, decorated with sinew and thread-sewn seed beads on the obverse. The design features a whirling log on each hip, along with stars followed by a floral motif. Fringe originates from the center seam, paralleled by an alternating line of blue and red beads. Accompanying the trousers is a custom table mount.
